Most Salesforce texting tools stop at texting. If you also want to make and take calls, you buy a second product, wire up a second vendor, and pay a second bill. Pledgely SMS puts both in one package, on the same numbers, inside Salesforce.

Text from any record

Send and receive SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp from one threaded conversation view on any contact or custom object. Messages appear the moment they arrive, so there is no refreshing and no stale threads. Templates with merge fields, scheduled sends, and file attachments are all right there on the record.

Call on the same numbers

Voice ships in the same app. You get a dialer in the utility bar, an auto-attendant with a press-1 menu, voicemail with optional transcription, call recording, and missed-call auto-text-back that sends one consent-checked reply when a call goes unanswered. Business-hours routing sends after-hours calls to voicemail or a forward number. Every call is logged to a record with packaged reports. You do not need a separate calling product to get this.

STOP, START, and HELP keywords flip consent automatically and write a clean audit trail. Sending to someone who opted out is blocked before it happens, so compliance is the default rather than a checklist.

Automate it

Send from Flow, run bulk campaigns from a report or a campaign, and message many related people from one parent record, each with their own merge fields. Turn on messaging for a custom object with a few clicks and no code.

Your account, your rates

You connect your own Twilio account, so you pay Twilio’s raw rates with no per-message markup, you own the data, and you keep your numbers if you ever leave.
