Pledgely SMS
Salesforce texting and calling, in one native app.
Send and receive SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp from any record, and take calls on the same numbers: all inside Salesforce, on your own Twilio account, at raw Twilio rates.
Your Twilio, your rates
Bring your own Twilio
- Guided setup wizard: validate your Twilio credentials, provision or link a number, and connect everything without leaving Salesforce
- Your Twilio account, your rates, your data: Pledgely adds no per-message markup
- Credentials stored in a private, service-guarded object, never exposed to users
Conversations
Every message, threaded on the record
- One threaded conversation view per contact: send, schedule, use templates, and attach files from the record page
- SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp in the same pipeline and the same thread view
- Inbound messages from unknown numbers are never dropped; they create an orphan contact channel you can link later
- New messages appear the moment they arrive: no refreshing, no stale threads
- Per-user notification rules with a deduped inbox: one notification per conversation
Compliance built in
Consent & audit
- STOP / START / HELP keywords (configurable per channel) flip consent automatically and auto-respond
- Every consent change writes exactly one audit row, including opt-outs Twilio reports back
- Sending is hard-blocked to opted-out recipients
Voice: no CTI add-on required
A full calling suite, on the numbers you already text from
- Utility-bar dialer: inbound calls ring every available agent, pop the linked record, and escalate any SMS thread to a call in one click
- Single-level IVR auto-attendant: greeting plus press-1 digit menus, built by admins in the setup app
- Voicemail with optional transcription, per-channel greetings, and follow-up tasks
- Call recording (per-channel toggle, with caller announcement) and blind transfer to online users
- Missed-call auto-text-back: unanswered calls send one consent-gated SMS automatically
- Business-hours routing with holiday support; after-hours calls go to voicemail, a message, or a forward number
- Every call logged to a Call record plus a timeline activity, with packaged reports and list views
- Post-call wrap-up: outcome and notes captured without blocking the next call
Automation & scale
From one reply to ten thousand sends
- One reliable outbound queue for immediate and scheduled sends, with exponential-backoff retries on transient failures
- Duplicate-proof delivery: if Twilio ever sends the same inbound message twice, it still lands once
- Templates with merge fields, organized in shared folders, usable everywhere you send
- Bulk campaigns from Campaigns, Reports, or ad-hoc search, with live progress and cancellation
- Message many related recipients from one parent record, with per-recipient merge fields
- Flow invocables for sending and for creating contact channels: automate from any Flow
- Message from any custom object with a point-and-click mapping: zero code
Pledgely SMS: common questions
Do I need a separate CTI product for calling?
No. Voice ships in the same package as texting: the dialer, IVR, voicemail, recording, and call logging all run on the same channels and numbers you text from. One install, one price.
Why bring my own Twilio account?
You pay Twilio’s raw rates with no markup, you own the account and its data, and you keep the numbers if you ever leave. Pledgely charges for the app, never per message.
Where does my message data live?
Your message records live in Salesforce. Pledgely stores no separate copy and has no standing access to your org. Salesforce connects directly to your Twilio account.
Does it support WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp-enabled channels send and receive through the same pipeline and conversation view as SMS. (WhatsApp voice calling is not supported.)
Can I message from custom objects?
Yes. Add a lookup field and one configuration record, and the conversation component works on any custom object’s record page: no code.
